The Data Analytics course will give you a greater understanding of the data analytics career path as well as how to combine data analytics skills with other competencies to increase your employability across a range of roles in the digital economy. You will work with spreadsheet tools such as Excel to perform exploratory and diagnostic data analysis and be introduced to databases, including SQL, to manage complex data sets. Completing this course provides the foundational skills for data analysis.

This course has three learning outcomes:

1. Apply fundamental data analytics techniques, using spreadsheet and database tools, to prepare, interpret, and communicate insights about data sets.
2. Prepare data to synthesize complex ideas to support an organization's ability to extract meaning and make data-driven decisions.
